Warm Up On Washington Golf Courses
With more than 300 golf courses and clubs to choose from, state of Washington golf visitors are never far from an elegant 18. Spokane has a tamable track at Wandermere that can get you ready for some of the tougher Washington courses.

Reasonable rates (under $30) make Wandermere a wonderful destination. Also beckoning from Newcastle (near Seattle) is the Golf Club at Newcastle and its two distinct courses. Peak rates can climb well over $100, but this is Washington golf at its finest. And don't be afraid to go off-peak: Golfers can play almost year-round on Washington golf courses because of the temperate climate of the state. Warming up before Washington tee times scheduled during colder or rainy weather can make a big difference to your game.

Flexibility is vital to making larger turns that can generate more distance, even on wet fairways. Take 10 minutes before your tee time to stretch and warm your muscles. Be especially sure to warm up your shoulder and back muscles to promote an even swing and avoid injury.
